Another Degustabox review for you this month, for anyone who hasn’t seen my previous reviews Degustabox is a monthly subscription box that contains between 9 – 14 surprise products. The boxes retail at only £12.99 and the products always far out way the cost, if you fancy trying one out there all the links are at the bottom of the post.

20141008_141028This month there were 13 products from 8 different brands take a look at my YouTube Video and see me unboxing this months box and my initial thoughts on it.

As I usually do I have split the box down into sections to tell you a little bit more about them, drinks, snacks cooking/cupboard items.

PicMonkey CollageI do like an energy drink, as a Mum of 4 a little extra boost is always welcome, Little Miracles are a blend of organic tea and fruit juice. They are naturally sweetened with agave and are less than 90 calories per bottle. Out of the 2 flavours I preferred the green tea, it was really refreshing, available from most supermarkets priced at £1.59 per bottle.
Crabbies are a brand I am familiar with but these 2 flavours are new to me, the Scottish Raspberry flavour has a lovely hint of ginger to it as an after taste and was really refreshing. The fruits version was just raspberry and rhubarb flavour and again very pleasant, I would definitely buy both again and they are available in most supermarkets priced at £5.99 for a pack of 4.
PicMonkey Collage1Elizabeth Shaws have appeared in some of our previous Degustabox, these mint thins are delicious though, rrp £2.50. There are flat rectangle pieces of dark chocolate with crunchy mint pieces, the children wont get a look in on these I’m afraid! Not to worry though as there were some yummy Hit biscuits for the children, the milk chocolate ones they have tried before, but the new black and white ones were yummy, with 2 cocoa biscuits and a slab of yummy white chocolate inside, the children loved them, priced at only £1.38 for a pack of five there a bit of a bargain to! Last up in the snacking section are 3 packets of Burts Lentil Waves om lightly salted, sour cream & chive and thai sweet chilli. Flash cooked in Devon and made to be moreish, I really enjoyed the texture of these and would buy them again priced at 69p per bag.

PicMonkey Collage2Its been a while since I had marmalade, and it feels like a real treat to have some luxury Seville orange marmalade, made using a recipe thats over 170 years old and priced at only £1.59. Its a fab price as its a big jar that should last a while. I love Jordans and have eaten lots of the muesli, this is just crunchy baked oats with a touch of honey, perfect with milk or some yoghurt, priced at £2.69. A brand new product to me altogether is Carnation cook with it, you can use it in your hoem cooking. I’m not sure what I will use it with but its a good addition to ave in the cupboard.
