The House of Fraser is a name most are familiar with, but what I didn’t know is what a great range of childrens toys they stocked. I was offered the chance to select some for the children to review. I headed straight over to the website for a good look around and was honestly spoilt for choice they carried all my children’s favourite ranges Disney, VTech and WWE. I really struggled to choose something for them as there were so many fabulous offers, lots of the toys were half price or with upto 40% off and as soon as I settled on one thing I noticed another. But after a while I managed to select 3 items that I knew all my children would love and they were amazing deals to.
The Vtech Toot Toot Animals Safari Park which retails at £39.99 but is only £29.99 at the House of Fraser. Its a great toy for pre schoolers as it offers lots of fabulous play opportunities. Take a look at the my YouTube video which includes all details of toy.
Cody really loves the toy and its a special treat having such an amazing toy this close to Christmas, we are going to buy some more of the animals for him at Christmas to increase his play opportunities. The zoo has 7 interactive SmartPoint locations which respond to the animals with sounds, phrases and melodies, it also has 3 colourful buttons which have 2 modes of play, colour recognition and animal sounds. There are also lots of moving parts to play with the penguin stacker, the movable lift and the spinning penguin pool. I thoroughly recommend this toy for any pre schooler this Christmas.
One of Skye’s newest obsession of the moment is Barbie and she loves to build things, so I though the Mega Bloks Build N Style Beach House would be perfect for her. We are already big Mega Blok’s fans and have lots of the kits for all our children, the Build N Style House retails at £39.99 but is on sale for an amazing £14.99 which is less than half price, so go grab it while you can! Its a lovely little set and offers some great interactive play, there is a jacuzzi, sunbeds and even a moveable dance mat. Cody was straight into playing it as soon as it was set up and he loved walking the figures around the house. You can see him on the video partaking in some great imaginative play, Skye also loved the set when she decided she wanted to paly with it, which was 2 days after it arrived. She is very funny with new toys and likes t0 scope them out before she plays!
There was only one choice for he older boys and it had to be some sort of board game, there is a massive selection to chose from all at great prices. I opted for Twister which retails at £14.99 but is only £9.99 in House of Fraser. Its changed a bit since I played with a few new moves thrown in the make the game that bit more exciting. Not only do you have to put your hand/foot on corresponding colours, there are 2 new moves on the board!
The spinners choice is the first new move, so whoever is spinning the board gets to pick where the opponents move is going to be, the second new move is the air move, if you land on this then you will need to put on of your hands or feet in the air. There is a great new fun element to the game and I cant wait to get it out at the next family party. The boys loved this game its a fun family game a must have for the upcoming festive season!
