Woodpic are the UK’s only wood art printer, if your tired of having your images on canvas then Woodpic could be just the thing for you. I was intrigued when I was offered a review. Each Woodpic is hand crafted by professionals who craft your design to ensure an original personalised work of art every time. All wood is sustainably sourced and only premium grade ply is used to ensure the highest quality. Each panel has its own unique grain and markings and the team try and match your image with a canvas grain to compliment your picture.
I was given the opportunity to review an 11×11 square Woodpic priced at £39.99. I had a hard time selecting an image that I wanted to use, all the ones I selected weren’t good enough quality to be used for the size of the Woodpic. You have the option to sync your Facebook up and select images from there, however every single image I selected wasn’t good enough quality. This is probably because Facebook downgrade the quality of the image when you upload. The upload system on the Woodpic website is very clever and suggests a size that your image will look best on. A few of the images I wanted weren’t good enough for the 11×11 but it was suggested that they would be a good fit for the 12×9 landscape.
This is the original image I chose for my Woodpic creation, once uploaded you have to crop it and you can move the square around and crop it wherever you like. Once you have cropped it you just add it to your basket and your job is all done and its up to Woodpic to get going on your creation. Around 4-5 days after I placed my order my Woodpic was delivered by the post man, I was looking forward to seeing how it came out.
I am really pleased with the result the image isn’t at all distorted and I love that you can see the grain of the wood through the picture! The wood is of a decent thickness and I like you can see all the different layers on the side. The grain runs right through and you can also see it on the reverse side of the Woodpic. This should have cost £39.99 which is you compare to the price of a canvas of the same size is expensive. But it far exceeds the quality and wow factor of a canvas, I just love it and will definitely be getting some as Christmas gifts for the family this year.
Make sure you keep your eyes open during my blogaversary giveaways next week as Woodpic have generously offered a code for one of my readers to create their very own 11×11 Woodpic creation.
