Its Degustabox time again and time for a brand new box of surprises! As always at the end of the month we got a surprise box full of between 10-15 items from a variety of different brands. The boxes cost just £12.99 per month and if you fancy trying one just enter the code 7M9VV for a £3 discount off your first box. As always I have done a video for my YouTube channel of the unboxing.
Inside the box this month I got 14 items from 9 different brands, 5 brands I am familiar with and 4 brands that are completely new to me. There were no repeat items this month which I was pleased to see. As usual I have also broken the box down in to categories for you, so lets get started.
There are 4 different beverages this month the first was a large bottle of Montano Italian Cider, made from apples grown in the foothills of the Trentino region of Northern Italy, The hubby tried this and said it was a nice fresh taste, priced at £2.79 per bottle. Cool Dawn Recovery drink is a herbal detox drink that cures hangovers, that is if you can stomach it!! We found the drink to be absolutely vile, not even stomach-able, I don’t see how anyone could drink it, especially with a hangover, priced at £2.98 per can we will definitely be giving this one a miss in future. I was happy to see the Drink Me Chai tea sampler in the box as I have always wanted to try it! The Pip apple juices went down well with the children and I liked that they didn’t have the bitter apple flavour of other apple juices we have had before. It is priced at £3 per bottle which is a little pricey for me but we did really enjoy it.
There were only 2 snack/treat items in the box this month but both were delicious. We are big Lindt fans in our house so we were really pleased to see the appearance of the My Melting Moments, a nice big chunky piece of creamy chocolate with a melt away middle! Priced at £3.25 but a little piece of tasty luxury. Kettle Chips are another favourite of our family but the salsa & mesquite flavour is a new one to us. I was expecting them to be spicy due the the salsa but they are in fact surprisingly mild.
We had a Kents Kitchen curry kit last month and really enjoyed it, this month we have a 4 pack of Fajita seasoning, we regularly have fajita so are looking forward to giving this seasoning a try. With Christmas just around the corner Branston have released some new flavours in time for the inclusion on your cheese boards this Christmas. We got the caramelised onion chutney in our box and its amazing! Its lovely with cheese but I can see so many more uses for it. Holy Cow is not a brand I am familiar with, but I have a hubby who is a regular curry eater so I know these 2 curry making kits will go down well. Both new tastes to me so looking forward to discovering what they taste like. The sauces are priced at £3.38 per pack.
